Aldo was born in the 1950s to Italian parents in Rosario S. Fè (Argentina), a city of revolutionaries and visionaries of politics, art and music. He studied art and graphics at the Institute of Art in Padua (Italy) during the years when the world was changing.

Inspired by his family’s tradition in the footwear industry he saw the opportunity to bring together his love of art and technology by becoming a designer. As a result he started working for one of the biggest ski boot producers in the mid 1970s.

Having matured extensive experience in the sector, in 1980 he started The Workshop with his wife Francesca. The Workshop is a creative laboratory working with international companies developing projects in the footwear sector and specialises in technical/sport performance footwear and sport fashion.

Aldo and Francesca live and work together in their home office in a creative harmony perfected by their mutual understanding as well as their curiosity, a value they both share.
